With its kitchen helmed by industry veteran Sean McCabe, The Social Register will offer a dynamic dining experience rooted in Nouveau American cuisine with a focus on fresh-caught seafood from its neighboring waters. The menus have been designed to encourage a social dining experience with sharable plates that are offered in addition to a collection of standalone entrees. Joined by his wife, executive sous chef Eliana, in the kitchen, McCabe aims to put forth vibrant, approachable creations that are priced with every budget in mind. In addition to presenting a seasonal menu, Chef McCabe also challenges his team to tap their culinary creativity by conceptualizing and executing specials. The best-selling dishes yield rewards for their creators, and vie for the chance to become a mainstay on the menu.
The Social Register offers craft creations that are named for some of Boston’s most notable figures of the past centuries. With a series of balanced cocktails, high-test martinis, a duo of sangria options and a large-format house cocktail, the libations use housemade syrups, bold fresh citrus flavors and crossovers from the kitchen that serve as garnishes. The cocktails are designed to pair well with Chef McCabe’s culinary offerings, as well as for sophisticated cocktailing in a relaxed lounge setting. The Social Register will offer 10 beers on draught including local favorites, craft selections from across the USA as well as international and domestic pours and also will offer a collection of bottled beer, ciders and malts.
